Faith Formation for Children

Children's Faith Formation

Holy Name Parish offers Faith Formation for youth of the parish from Preschool through Grade 8.

This faith growth and enrichment is made available by participation in
Holy Name Faith Formation classes for children in Pre- K through Grade 8
who attend public or private schools

Sacramental Program

Holy Name Parish provides opportunities for children to prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Initiation - Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Typically, second graders prepare to celebrate First Eucharist and Reconciliation; older youth (Grade 8 students) prepared to celebrate Confirmation. Holy Name Parish offers Faith Formation for youth of the parish from Preschool through Grade 8.

Students attending Sacred Heart Academy, Notre Dame Prep, or U of D Academy must contact the Faith Formation Office to register for Sacrament preparation.
