THE NEEDLEWORKS MINISTRY
The needleworks Ministry of Holy Name began five years ago.  Our mission is to provide hand knit and purchased blankets, hats, sweaters and baby pajamas size 0-3 months for Hutzel Hospital in Detroit. Hutzel has 500 babies born each month, often to low income mothers.  All of our gifts are greatly appreciated. All are welcome to join us or donate to our ministry. We meet every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.  Please contact Charlotte Kelly at: charlottekelly@comcast.net   Dear God, please bless these needles of mine.  May I make a gift which has the ability to comfort and heal.  May each person who receives our gifts know that with each stitch I knit or crochet or sew.  I pray that You are with them and that they are not alone.  I also pray that they are cared for and are loved.  May Your loving arms reach out to protect and enfold them.  Amen
	Loving God, we give thanks for the gift of our hands.  Give us the grace to see our hands as You see them as instruments of grace and life.  May the knitting of our hands be the knitting of Your heart.  Use our hands , O God, to carry out your works of mercy and love.  Amen
