As part of its Education Ministry, Holy Name Parish offers Faith Formation for youth of the
parish from Preschool through Grade 8.  
This faith growth and enrichment is made available by participation in one of the following:
  • Attendance at Holy Name Parochial School for Pre-School and Grades 1 – 8.
  • Attendance at Holy Name Religious Education classes for preschool children and students of Grades K – 8 who attend non-Catholic schools.
  • A Home Study Program arranged through the Faith Formation Office for special circumstances. 


SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM -

Holy Name Parish provides opportunities for children to prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation within the Catholic community of prayer and worship. Ordinarily, second graders are prepared to celebrate Eucharist and Reconciliation; older youth are prepared to celebrate Confirmation (Grade 8). Students attending Kensington, Sacred Heart Academy, or U of D Academy must contact the Religious Education Office to register for sacrament preparation.more...
