Lenten Focus: Vets Returning Home

Lenten Collection:Vets Returning Home

The goal of Vets Returning Home (VRH) is simple: to end chronic homelessness among veterans.  While many veterans of military service seamlessly return to civilian life, others struggle.  Within the context of a stable, sober living environment, VRH provides life skills and employment training, job placement and disability benefit assistance, legal aid and program after-care to men and women who have served their country in all branches of military service. Located in Roseville, VRH is a Michigan founded organization committed to help heal and make whole those who have risked their lives for our freedom.

“We cannot do everything and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that.
This enables us to do something and do it very well. It may be incomplete,
but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for God’s grace
to enter and do the rest.”
Cardinal Dearden
